A Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) scan provides an extraordinarily detailed three-dimensional view of your teeth, jaws, airway, sinuses, jaw joints, and surrounding structures. It allows us to detect conditions that simply cannot be appreciated on conventional two-dimensional radiographs, making it an invaluable diagnostic tool for implant planning, endodontics, impacted teeth, TMJ evaluation, airway assessment, and many other aspects of comprehensive dental care.

At Enso Dentistry, every CBCT scan is personally reviewed by Dr. Keerti and is also submitted to a board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist for a comprehensive interpretation. This independent evaluation helps ensure that findings both within and beyond the area of immediate dental concern are carefully assessed and appropriately documented.

This additional level of scrutiny is not routinely performed in many dental offices, but we believe it should be. A scan should never become just another image in a patient’s record. It is an opportunity to uncover important information, provide greater diagnostic confidence, and deliver the most comprehensive care possible.
